Experienced Carpenter / Crew Leader – Residential Construction
Location: Grottoes, VA
 

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter and Crew Leader to join our residential construction team. We handle a range of new builds and custom projects, and we need someone who can lead a crew, manage day-to-day work on site, and produce high-quality results.

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily work on residential construction sites.

• Read and interpret plans and specifications.

• Perform carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, and punch-out.

• Coordinate with subcontractors and team members to keep projects on schedule.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.

• Communicate effectively with the project manager and office staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of residential carpentry experience.

• Proven leadership experience.

• Strong knowledge of framing, finishing, and general residential construction.

• Ability to manage a crew and keep work moving efficiently.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
