R & L Construction, Inc located in Bridgewater, VA is looking for a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager to join the residential team! The Assistant Project Manager will directly assist and support the current Manager/Project Manager in the planning and execution of the client’s project, ensuring that the projects run smoothly from start to finish. The assistant Project Manager will assist with the day-to-day tasks involved in planning and implementing a project, like coordinating with vendors, monitoring budget spending, and collaborating with other departments to find resources and information for a project. Typical hours will be Monday thru Friday, 8:00 A.M – 5:00 P.M.


Assistant Project Manager skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in residential construction or administrative assistance

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent multitasking skills

  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision

  • Ability to creatively expand on ideas and job schedules

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized


Assistant Project Manager job description:
